هِمْ بِالحَبِيبِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَذَوِيهِ
إِنَّ الهُيَامَ بِحُبِّهِ يُرْضِيهِ
him bil ḥabībi muḥammadin wadhawīhi
innal huyāma biḥubbihi yurḍīhi
Be Enamored with the Beloved Muhammad ﷺ and His Noble Family
Being Enamored in His love pleases Him
إِنْ مَاتَ جِسْمُكَ فَالْهَوَىٰ يُحْيِيهِ
جَسَدٌ تَمَكَّنَ حُبُّ أَحْمَدَ فِيهِ
in māta jismuka fal hawāā yuḥyīhi
jasadun tamakkana ḥubbu aḥmada fīhi
Even if your body dies, love revives it
A body in which the love of Ahmad ﷺ has taken root
تَاللّٰهِ إِنَّ الأَرْضَ لَا تُبْلِيهِ
taālllāhi innal arḍa lā tublīhi
By Allah! the earth shall never consume it
طُوبَىٰ لِمَنْ هُوَ فِي المَحَبَّةِ صَبُّهُ
لِمَ لَا وَمَوْلَاهُ الكَرِيمُ يُحِبُّهُ
ṭūbāā liman huwa fīl maḥabbati ṣabbuhu
lima lā wamawlāhul karīmu yuḥibbuhu
Glad tidings to him whose heart is consumed with love
For why not, when his Generous Lord loves him
فِي القَبْرِ حَاشَا أَنْ يُضَامَ مُحِبُّهُ
أَوْ كَيْفَ يَأْكُلُهُ التُّرَابُ وَحُبُّهُ
fīl qabri ḥāshā an yuḍāma muḥibbuhu
aw kayfa ya’kuluhut turābu waḥubbuhu
In the grave, never shall the lover be disgraced,
How could the soil ever consume him, when his love
فِي قَلْبِهِ وَمَدِيحُهُ فِي فِيهِ
fī qalbihi wamadīḥuhu fī fīhi
Dwells in his heart and praise upon his lips
مَنْ بُعدِهِ رُوحِي أَطَالَتْ أَنَّهَا
أَنَالسَتْ أَصْغِي لِلْعَذُولِ وَإِنْ نَهَىٰ
man buʿdihi rūḥī aṭālat annahā
anaālsat aṣghī lilʿadhūli wa in nahāā
From being apart, my soul has grown weary,
I will not listen to the reproacher, even if he forbids me.
يَاعَاشِقًا ذَاتَ الحَبِيبِ وَحُسْنَهَا
أَكْثِرْ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ فَإِنَّهَا
yāʿāshiqan dhātal ḥabībi waḥusnahā
akthir ʿalayhi minaṣ ṣalāti fa innahā
O lover of the Beloved’s essence and beauty,
Increase your prayers upon him, for indeed,
هِيَ نُورُ قَبْرِكَ عِنْدَمَا تَأْوِيهِ
hiya nūru qabrika ʿindamā ta’wīhi
it is the illumination of your grave when you enter it
يَا رَبِّ عَبْدٌ قَدْ أَسَا بِفِعَالِهِ
وَبِذُلِّهِ قَدْ مَدَّ كَفَّ سُؤَالِهِ
yā rabbi ʿabdun qad asā bifiʿālihi
wabidhullihi qad madda kaffa suālihi
O Lord! A servant who has erred in his deeds,
And in his humility, he has extended the palm of his plea,
وَأَتَىٰ حَبِيبَكَ طَامِعًا بِنَوَالِهِ
عَبْدٌ تَوَسَّلَ بِالنَّبِيِّ وَآلِهِ
wa atāā ḥabībaka ṭāmiʿan binawālihi
ʿabdun tawassala bin nabiyyi wa ālihi
He approaches Your Beloved, hoping for his grace,
A servant who seeks intercession through the Prophet and his family
فَبِحَقِّهِمْ يَا رَبِّ لَا تُخْزِيهِ
fabiḥaqqihim yā rabbi lā tukhzīhi
So by their right, O Lord, do not disgrace him.
