O You who drew near and ascended,

And became pure in essence and family,

You rose to the highest heights,

In a journey that is unequaled

Your chest was opened in completion,

And you were increased in knowledge and spiritual state,

You truly became an exemplary model,

You are Yāsīn and Ṭāhā

For you, Al-Buraq showed reverence,

When it saw you, the beloved one,

It bowed its head, drawing near to you,

With your light, God manifested His splendor

O you who were granted the Seven Oft-Repeated Verses (al-Fātiḥah)

And the key to the doors of meanings,

You ascended above the heavens,

And knocked upon its very gate

You led the prophets in prayer,

In the sanctuary of the purified ones,

Then soared toward the heavens,

While the soul longed for its desire

You met the People of the Message (Prophets),

The people of guidance and signification,

And you yourself were a radiant halo,

Rising in generosity and glory

You were first given fifty prayers,

Then you were granted ease to make you pleased

Five remained as obligation and command,

And their supplicant’s call is answered

And to end, may the blessing and peace

Of my Master - as long as birds coo

Upon the noble Prophet,

As long as the lover is enraptured in him

And upon the Companions and the Family, the masters,

Leaders for mankind in goodness,

And upon the people of spiritual secrets and devotion,

Whose lives none can compare to.
